Monster in the making part 2

He's starting to look like a moster. This is the first picture of the head worth showing cause he was so ridiculous at first. I'm thinking of posting those pics later though just to show you how something so stupid turned out something great.

The shirt is a late birthday present for Eveliina. Took me while to sew those 186 buttons.

A couple of new tie accessories. The first two were custom made.

Monster in the making part 1

First glove done. I'm anxious to continue but my glue gun over heated and broke. So now i'm waiting to get it fixed and hoping that I can get back to work soon. In the meantime I carved a couple of horns for the head. It's going to look great.

 

 

the monster is born

This is a sample of what will eventually become an entire monster costume. I'm working on the head at the moment and really hope it'll work out. I haven't done anything quite this big before so we'll see what happens.

River

Winter photos! I had a terrible urge to go out and shoot again cause it had been so long since we'd done that. So I took Eveliina to a river near my mother's  place and put on basically every piece of white clothing I own. Photos are again (c) Eveliina Lakso, costume, modeling and photo editing by me.
