3D manouver gear

Revisiting the cosplay scene with an awesome group of friends. I guess I would still cosplay if it was only the props. On this project I didn't have to touch the sewing machine.

Making seven sets of manouver gear was a big challenge for me. It took two months of planning, drawing, building and painting. Could not have done it without the groups support. All of the members put so much effort on both the props and the costumes.

Prithivi in the making

So here she is. My next cosplay project. I'm making very slow progress since some parts of this costume require serious amount of brain work. I've made a rough base for the head, the dress is coming on nicely and I've even started to work on her shoes. But right now I'm consentrating only on the gloves. Gloves that turn into deadly whips. How cool is that?! I can't wait to finish them.

About cosplay

I've wanted to post some cosplay pictures for some time now. I've been having a break from cosplay since 2009 although I did fix my Ashe costume and wore it again in Desucon 2010. But I haven't made a new costume for almost three years now so these pictures feel old as hell. I find my self critisizing every little thing in these costumes cause I know I could make them so much better today. In any case I wanted to show them because I feel that there's something I've learned through making these costumes.

Monster breasts

For some of you this picture might not mean anything but fear not you'll see whats going on eventually. This is actually going to be the most insane, stupid and time-consuming costume project I've ever started. And I'm absolutely thrilled about it. So here's the first look on this baby. She's got some crazy boobs.
